Bryn Marl Nursing Home will be hosting a V.E Day celebration to commemorate the 80th anniversary . We will be having an afternoon of music followed by a traditional afternoon tea to mark this momentous occasion. All family and friends are invited to join us on the 8th of May from 2pm
Bryn Marl Nursing Home are very busy arranging our annual summer fair to be help on Saturday 21st June from 2pm. We will be joined by the Beaulah brass band and “Rock in Ron” for an afternoon of live music. We will be having a variety of stall including a raffle, tombola, hot dogs and burgers, cold drinks, cakes, and entertainment for the little ones. We will also be having an ice cream van for all to enjoy. All family and friends are welcome to join us for an afternoon of fun and laughter. We would really appreciate any donations towards our raffle, tombola, and cake stalls. Please contact the home if you would be able to make a kind contribution.
Bryn Marl Nursing Home will be having some very special visitors coming to see us on Wednesday 21st May at 2.30pm !
Scaly Safari, a reptile and animal handling experience will be visiting the residents and staff , our visitors will include, a bearded dragon, a python snake, bower constrictor snake, a blue tongued skink, chameleon, and other little friendly visitors .
A warm welcome will be given to all relatives and friends who would like to join us.

Bryn Marl Nursing Home are delighted to announce that we now have a qualified fitness instructor joining us every Thursday afternoon to facilitate chair-based exercises for our wonderful residents. The sessions will take place to music and encourage our residents to increase their mobility through the medium of movement. The sessions will be fun and aim to enhance physical and mental health well-being.
Bryn Marl Nursing Home has a visiting fully qualified hair stylist who visits the home every Tuesday to cater for all our resident’s hair styling preferences .Every Tuesday the home turns into a hair saloon where our residents enjoy a good natter and a cuppa whilst enjoying a visit from the hair stylist.

Bryn Marl Nursing Home . Every week we have our special visitors from Kids Planet Nursery who come to the home to engage with our wonderful residents. The Children and residents enjoy playing games together, singing and interacting. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce the little ones to a care home environment and helps them to gain their confidence and understanding of the elderly population. The residents are over the moon when the little people arrive, and their smiles are priceless when engaging with the youngsters. Bryn Marl Nursing Home – Residents and families enjoyed a very active exercise class this week set to Music of the 50’s and 60’s. Lisa, a fully qualified fitness instructor from Active Llan, based in Llanfairfechan visits the home to facilitate this fun and interactive session that promotes physical and mental health well being.
Bryn Marl Nursing Home are looking forward to welcoming our little friends from Kids Planet on Monday 16th of June to deliver an activity session to our wonderful residents based on music and movement, involving puppets, balloons and musical instruments.
Bryn Marl Nursing Home are proud to be taking part in Care Home Open Week from the 16th-22 June 2025. The week will celebrate fantastic work that Care Homes do to enhance the lives of the residents who live in care homes. On Monday 16th June the home will be joined by members of the Royal Collage of Nursing to celebrate the hard work of our staff. We will be offering all our residents and staff a light afternoon tea of sandwiches, cake .
Bryn Marl Nursing Home – Our very special lady Margaret celebrated her 97th Birthday on the 23th June, here is Margaret receiving her fabulous home made cake from the home, we always ensure hat we make a big fuss of al our residents birthdays.

Bryn Marl Nursing Home-It was all the fun of the fair last Saturday when we had our annual summer fair. Residents, relatives, and staff enjoyed an afternoon of live music, various stalls, hot dogs’ burgers, and ice cream. We want to say a massive thank you to all the kind people who donated prizes to our raffle, made cakes for your cake stall and helped on the day. We raised a whopping £650 for our resident activity fund. (consent has been obtained for the sharing of images).

Bryn Marl Nursing Home- Our residents and staff love seeing Dylan, the therapy dog from Therapy dogs Uk visiting the home with his human Sian. The residents look forward to seeing Dylan who really does brighten up our day . Dylan and Sian are regular visitors to our Home.
