Our accommodation and facilities

Our homes offer Expert general Nursing care and nursing care for people living with dementia. Our bedrooms are light and spacious and have been specially designed and equipped for residents who require expert nursing care. We encourage you to bring personal items such as photographs, ornaments, pictures, and small items of furniture with you.  This will allow you to personalise your room.

Your care

Our team will work closely with you and your family to create a personalised care plan which is reviewed on a regular basis. We wish your care plan to be as personal to you as possible and therefore value you and your family’s assistance in its development and review. All our nursing interventions are based on the latest evidence-based practice and will be unique to your individual needs.

Privacy and Dignity

Residents in our care expect to enjoy the same standards of privacy that we all generally expect to enjoy. Being alone and free from intrusion or disturbance are basic human rights and are reflected in our care practices and attitudes. Consultations with those in our care by the following professionals and others will always be strictly in private unless specifically requested otherwise:

• Health.

• Social Care.

Dining

Each day our chef prepares fresh, seasonal ingredients and prepares  tasty, nutritious meals around residents’ individual likes and dislikes, special requirements and dietary needs, so please do let us know what your favourite dishes are. If you would like something outside the usual mealtimes, simply tell one of our team and something can be prepared for you.  Many of our residents choose to eat in our dining room but you are welcome to eat in your room if you prefer. We have attached a sample menu for you.

Medicines and prescriptions

Medication for all existing and future medical conditions will be prescribed by your GP and administered by our qualified nurses.
